Chassis Dynamometer

At Bradan we have a Mustang MD-250 Chassis Dynamometer. This is an important tool for diagnostic testing and tuning. This rolling road allows us to drive on the rollers with full data acquisition to find problematic issues at speed, fine tune carbureted vehicles, and tune modern engine management systems. The MD-250 boasts a 1,300 horsepower measurement capacity at a top speed of 175 mph and a powerful air-cooled eddy current brake provides the MD-250 with 900-hp worth of loading capacity. The MD-250 uses its powerful eddy current power absorber, a frictionless, air-cooled braking device to enable it to apply variable and steady state loading. A complete control and data acquisition system lets us design a wide range of tests.
